# A prescient blog post from before Zcash launched

I was looking for something else and I just stumbled across this blog post that Nathan wrote back before Zcash launched. Really rings truer today than ever. I’m constantly in awe of that guy’s vision and thoughtfulness.

Wow, reading that I am similarly struck by how well @nathan-at-least predicted the next couple of years (now the past couple of years). And even the current governance discussions!
