# Android reference wallet.... any info?

I know its being worked on, Droid devs being hired & its a ‘post-sapling’ thing… but I’d really like to know a bit more about it.

Any chance of a sneak-peek? The spec, feature list, wish-list, anything that would satisfy my idle curiosity.

Completely understand if its a closely guarded secret, but thought I’d ask anyway 🙄

The latest information I have seen about the reference wallet was in the weekly engineering update: [September 14, 2018 - Weekly update (Engineering)](https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/t/september-14-2018-weekly-update-engineering/31267)

This Friday (tomorrow) is the next engineering update so hopefully there will be some more progress info, I’m excited for this one too 🙂

Pure speculation… but given daira’s recent post on Coda, plus there was a ‘wallet guy’ and a ‘coda guy’ at Zcon0, we could be in for something amazing.
