# Announcing Zingod

Zingo Labs is now supporting a non-Zaino Indexer, “zingod”.

You can try [https://status.zec.global](https://status.zec.global) in your browser, and use **zec.global** in your wallet!

Via zingod Zingo Labs offers lightclient indexing that’s:

- NU7 supporting

- IPv6 supporting

- highly available

- low-latency

- high-throughput

- protocol compliant

- no loadbalancer TLS termination (extending network privacy)

- sends via randomly sampled validators

at the zec.global endpoint.

We’ve been using this endpoint, in production, backing Zingo User lightclients for several weeks.

We have not experienced any disruption as a result of NU7.

In order to expand User options we’re managing the underlying (MIT licensed) software (forked from zaino) at:

We’ll open PRs to Z3 (docker compose etc.) so that Z3 operators can opt to use either zingod or zaino.

We will be actively developing, maintaining, and updating zingod.

In order to increase optionality we’ll publish containers and build artifacts through a different set of endpoints (\*/zingod) and leave the \*/zaino[d] endpoints in place.

Note: Due to a coordination failure on my part the Z3 docker compose, and container publication end-points were not updated in time for NU7.

Yeah!

We have gotten indexer sync times down to ~25 minutes for ZingoD (with nvme disk for zebra & zingod). We also removed almost all of the passthrough calls to the validator, and build a local index of all the data critical to light-client sync instead of relying on validators.

The response time and throughput of every GRPC endpoint has been improved, and some have been improved substantially!

On our zec.global endpoint, I have benchmarked synthetic wallets (linear distribution of 0-2 week resumes via k6) at 16k concurrent wallets with 0% errors on our current infra ([https://status.zec.global](https://status.zec.global)) The call that tripped was the p99 for GetTransaction rising above 8 seconds, and that has since been optimized, so I suspect we could handle a lot more wallets!

Is this a ZCG Grant application or is it miscategorized in the applications section?
