# "daemon is taking longer than expected to start" windows 10

Hi .  
At first I apologize for my english.  
I have a new computer with newly installed windows 10.  
After installing zcash4win the following problem appears:  
“daemon is taking longer than expected to start” and the program does not start.  
I searched the internet but I did not find a solution.  
please help ☹

The resolution to your issue is within the official thread for zcash4win, multiple times. A simple search will yield what you’re looking for 🙂 Here’s the thread:
