# Establishing a Zenate for ZIP Governance and Managing ZCAP

ZF created ZCAP as a means of assessing community sentiment, and uses it as an advisory input when appointing board members, and when discharging its duties and responsibilities under the Trademark Agreement.

The ZF Board has discussed this proposal, and has unanimously agreed that ZF will continue to operate and manage ZCAP.
