# Fresh Zcash Data

Hey gang,

Was looking around in google big query and noticed that there is public network data for Zcash. I was interested in digging into what’s in there but noticed that it’s quite stale, from around 2022.

Besides running a node is there anywhere to pull fresh zcash network data to dig around on chain?

Depends on what you mean by pull data. if you just want to look around, then there are plenty of explorers and dashboards now. If you want to query blockchain information which comes from a node and not run one of your own then you would need access to a node api. I’ll grab some links. Zechub always has pretty up to date resources.

For public node api’s, I know of getblock io
