Thx for the suggestion but i think James Prestwich’s view and paper fits perfectly into the megathread / everything in one place even as a full text. This thread allready has 287 posts and it shouldn’t really lack exactly James Prestwich’s view which i personally see as a very good written opinion around the new dev fund discussion. Even it’s a long text i hope you see that the community might be interested in his/this opinion and that all opinions should be available on the forum, enough they are on-topic and at least in my opinion, this is absolutly on-topic. Of course the moderation can decide something different. Link to the full text on the Zcash forum after the text was (re-)moved into a seperate thread: > [@James Prestwich thoughts on a Dev Fund](https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/t/james-prestwich-thoughts-on-a-dev-fund/34714): > > This guy has the same blood type than mine it seems, lol. I think it’s worth to post the whole article here and not just a link. (It’s a good document and as the thoughts are directed towards the community i doubt there is a problem to post the whole text here. But i messaged him to tell me if it’s a problem to post his text here and i will remove it in case he does not agree) Full text of: Thoughts from James Prestwich: [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1eHpO\_L7yncGy\_K4BslzTzDG1uAE7PSzz2eeM…](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1eHpO_L7yncGy_K4BslzTzDG1uAE7PSzz2eeM6dqhHEI/edit) --- _[View the full topic](https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/t/future-of-zcash-dev-funding-megathread-everything-in-one-place/34063)._
