Hi there, ZCG folks! I just started reading the new ZCG meeting minutes and followed the link on the first item to here. Reading this thread, it looks like a professional team that put in a good effort answering questions about the proposal in this thread, and I wanted to ask for more information about the decline. Not to argue that you should have funded it — I haven’t looked as closely at it and I trust your judgment — but in order to give information to this team and others who are reading this about what sorts of things you’ll fund. The comment in the meeting minutes just says something like “We’ve declined many similar proposals.”, and this comment from the ZCG account here just says “out of scope of the type of projects ZCG is looking to fund”.
So, is it that it was too permissioned/custodial for your taste, or you just don’t want to fund wrapped ZEC on other platforms in general, or were there some specific weaknesses in this proposal, or what? Thanks for your time!
