The Zcash blockchain has exploded from 31GB on June 14th to 108GB on Sep 21st.

Please raise fees. Please.

Raising fees won’t magically reduce the amount of transaction. However, there’s already a [ZIP draft](https://github.com/zcash/zips/pull/631) on this specific matter.

The transaction numbers aren’t horribly inflated. It’s the weight of each transaction that is causing the issue. I’ve seen the ZIP. I’m encouraging them to get this done ASAP.
