if i create wallet on linux\ubuntu, then i can run mining on windows? for gpu

i im here in running: Old information?no test net anymore ?

testnet=1  
addnode=testnet.z.cash  
rpcuser=username  
rpcpassword=password

i use this now, just go again over instal testnet?
