Dumb question but now that I purchased some $ZEC on Gemini what should I do next? ---

Depends on why you bought it…? Presumably you want to store it somewhere, suggest setting up a node (zcashd) and the qt wallet (zec-qt-wallet). ---

Besides the financial stuff Zcash full node wallet allows for zk-snarks encrypted text communication, perhaps currently the most secure way in the world ---
