LiveZEC: ZEC Shielded Tipping for Streamers

Hey folks,
It’s been a while since the last update in this thread, so here’s a quick catch-up on LiveZEC.
Honestly, a lot of what we shipped since July came from you guys. @Zebraman, your UTC+8 bug report turned into a proper timezone setting, and the QR is now resizable and hides itself when an alert pops up. Thanks for that!
Some other stuff that landed:

  • 39 neural voices in 25+ languages reading memos out loud (you can replay them later too)
  • a word filter, so trolls can say “noob” all they want and the stream hears “marshmallow”
  • donation goals, a stats widget, themes, fonts, the works
  • an “Only notify” mode with a queue, so the streamer decides what goes on air
  • the dashboard in English, Portuguese and Spanish
  • 2FA, a 12-word recovery phrase, and history export

A few things you asked for are still open: ZcashNames, open-sourcing the code, and reading donations without sharing a viewing key. No news on those yet, but I’d really like to hear what you think. For now the reading runs on our server with a read-only key, and I always recommend a separate wallet just for tips.
I also made a short setup video if anyone wants to try it: https://youtu.be/NZpk1Wi5z2Q
And I’m open to ideas and collabs. If you run a show, a podcast, a community stream, a tournament, whatever, and want to try shielded tips with memos on screen, ping me and I’ll help set it up. Same goes for translations or guides in your language.
Feedback, criticism, weird ideas, all welcome.

*plus a lot of work under the hood (security, rate limiting, stability) that you’ll hopefully never notice
