Lowo Life as a ZEC Member

Hello everyone, a new month Zcash pump and we love it. I’m get to it the engineer workshop with Zcash.me was one for the books. They have a great concept with sending Zcash to user’s the feature I like the most is sending codes to an address for confirmation. I plan on getting in touch with them to see how we can collab Nozywallet and Zcash.me into the Nozywallet stack.

For Nozywallet development things are coming along great, the issues I had were with the sending ZEC from Nozywallet. Because the way I built the wallet it was trying to use Zcashd codes that Zebrad does not support. As of now, I’m going to fix the RPC build to correct this is and get Nozywallet to connect to Zebrad the send the ZEC out of the wallet. I also want to share a quick note on a long-term security challenge that’s relevant to all crypto projects, including ours. I was watching Bloomberg Crypto in recently highlighted the quantum threat to Bitcoin, which is something the crypto community is taking seriously. The core threat is that by the 2030s, sufficiently powerful quantum computers could break the cryptographic assumptions that secure Bitcoin. They could derive private keys from public keys using algorithms like Shor’s, which would enable attackers to sign transactions and steal funds especially those coins that are sitting dormant and whose public keys are visible on the blockchain, such as the famous Satoshi coins. Shor’s algorithm is a quantum algorithm developed by mathematician Peter Shor in 1994.

At Colorado Technical University, I’m learning Parallel Computing and this perfect for the timeline we are in now. Even doe I’m learning the classic style and not the supercomputer self-teaching myself and sharing with you guys us helping beyond my imagination. Quantum algorithms like Shor’s and Grover’s are not just about parallel processing they exploit quantum mechanics to achieve computational advantages that are fundamentally different from classical parallel computing. However, both aim to improve computational efficiency, just at different technological levels and principles.

While quantum computing is still in its early stages, its potential to disrupt current cryptographic security is very real and approaching faster than many anticipated. The crypto community, including projects like my very own Nozywallet, must stay informed and start planning for a transition to quantum-resistant solutions.
