It’s a new month so it’s time to talk about my life in the past 30 days. Which been great so far learning as always either from school or the crypto space work never stops. This gives me something to look forward too as writing this every month, I freestyle these as well. My life is wild as time goes by time shows me that I am on track showing up here is where I should be. I accepted my calling why this done became easy for me to do, nothing is easy peezy still have challenges.
My teacher made a statement about a movie called “Paycheck” Starring Ben Affleck That movie resonates with me and I things like that is going on for real due to us being born with as a blank sheet. Are the challenge and the key to one’s success. Like me selling my ZEC 36 tokens for 700 sum bucks, I feel my mind told me to do it so Nozy Wallet can be born.
Without me missing out even once was looking at 77 ZEC on Coinbase one day for like 1600 bucks. Only to say nah to myself on swapping the USD into the ZEC, If I would have done that. My head would be so big the real goal and mission would have been abandoned, I feel. This not the first time this happen I turn down 400k on my shell company stocks as well with only 2k to my name standing in a crazy place with zombies.
I just knew if, I said yes then this here and me finding Zcash would never made this timeline. Wealth is not real from what, I see building a product a tool for the people to be able to be free from the system is real wealth. Not paper money and T bills etc. and I think that’s what I told myself before my ship came to earth.
SCHOOL Flow
For my schooling at CTU, I been learning about software requirements which been great for me doing the Retroactive grant season we in right now help me with documenting my work correct. Along with teaching me how important software requirements are this made me respect the ZIPs with Zcash way more and a true understand of them and how they can be use. here’s one post I made for the class
Hello this a super late post.
I’m a lead Analyst on Nozy wallet and I have application users already. Why this post is late making sure we have the requirements is a must to a great application and to bring in users.
How would, I differentiate between functional and non-functional requirements?
Functional requirements describe what the system must do, and the specific behaviors, features, and capabilities users interact with. For Nozy wallet this with be the create wallet restore wallet send etc. sync wallet to tip as well. Non-functional requirements describe how the system performs those functions and quality attributes, constraints, and operational characteristics. This will be running a zebrad node for self-hosting wallet it will be a x4 priority fee when sending ZEC to another wallet migration to Ironwood pool from Orchard pool.
**What are some good techniques to perform requirements elicitation? **
Interviews & focus groups a one-on-one or small-group conversations with target users to uncover needs pain points, and jobs to be done. This my favorite one observation and contextual inquiry watching other use similar apps and collect data workshops and collaborative sessions. Bring stakeholders and users together for brainstorming, prioritization, or story mapping. I will drop links for this at the bottom and open community feedback especially valuable for open-source or privacy projects and forum posts, GitHub discussions, roadmap threads, and direct user reports.
**Why is it important to understand user requirements? **
For Nozy wallet this was especially important. Users in the Zcash community care deeply about true privacy by default, self-custody, and not leaking metadata through transparent addresses or centralized services. Capturing those requirements early led to deliberate design choices: Orchard/Ironwood-only flows, rejection of transparent addresses for normal send/receive, local companion API (so the browser extension never runs heavy gRPC/SQLite itself), and a clear split between the production-ready CLI and the still-in-development surfaces (desktop, extension, mobile).
I wish this was posted sooner than later hope someone read this would mean a lot to get a reply.
Learning Linux been wild I know how to use Linux with AI but without AI Linux is hard. As I was building Nozy wallet and this trading bot I made over a year ago gave me an understanding for sure because a lot we touch on in this class, I had seen on my own. It’s still a lot to learn because if I was not need for Nozy wallet still a lot of room to learn more as I seen in my Linux Programming learning The Linux File System Structure I touch on setting up my Zebrad node and the different in running in window verse WSL my class like it some shock I know. I hate when people say you don’t need a degree is a trick and a lie.

**Nozy Wallet **
Nozywallet is the best thing, I created since I had kids lol. Implanting Ironwood into Nozy Wallet was different and was hard for someone like me just starting out as a wallet developer. I knew it had to be done How I looked at implementing Ironwood was that it was my challenge as a wallet developer to get that task done in order to even be able to say that I qualify to be a wallet developer or even to get funding for [Nozy wallet Retroactive Grant] (Nozy wallet Retroactive Grant). This time better was under a lot of stress last year with a loved one in the hospital and not knowing if Nozy wallet was ever gone work.
I used my pain to get this down so many times I stop midway into some looking up at the ceiling saying wtf you doing these people not gone fund you. Tears drop because you know this not AI slop and where you coming from sometimes the mind play tricks on your own consciousness in this parallel universe.
