+1 @optiminer… ![]()
Hey, Optiminer.
It’s kenshirothefist from NiceHash here. I just tested the latest version and it still doesn’t properly support client.reconnect & extranonce.subscription. Due to the way NiceHash works this is really a drawback for our users when using your miner, because mining is interrupted from time to time, which is annoying.
The implementation is extremely easy and you can do it in one hour of coding. You can see here how it was added to the silentarmy miner:
client.reconnect :
extranonce.subscription :
Especially the missing support for official stratum method client.reconnect is critical, because your miner is just stopped in this case:
2016-11-13 18:15:01,865 WARN [default] Call of unknown method “client.reconnect” by server.
2016-11-13 18:15:01,865 INFO [default] Retrying connecting to equihash.eu.nicehash.com in 20 ms.
Please fix these ASAP. Thanks!
It’s running now but all GPUs produce 0 Sols/s… ![]()
Nope, no such host error.
nicehash is a scam , get a life
What do you mean? Do you use NiceHash?
It werks but …

Remove the stratum+tcp:// from your command line.
I also have this same result. Created an issue for it…
No longer , nicehash stole my zcash at the beginning of lunch

64bit programs can just allocate more memory. There are pleny of programs still compiled in 32 bit. That has nothing to say.
Can someone share *.bat file for windows? Can’t run this miner. Thnx in advance
You have to run inside Cygwin, bat doesnt work
It does almost immediately reconnect, so that’s not a big deal. But I found the bug in the extranonce subscription. The miner is stending “extranonce.subscribe” instead of “mining.extranonce.subscribe”.
Are you going to fix cpu & ram resource usage on linux machines , our farm’s machines are very minimum because of ethos
Do you know wich command i can use to increase powerlimit on linux ?
I get the same result and there is an open issue for it.
i put optiminer in home path of cygwin and at the start he gives me error “cant read bin/x-base.bin (-1)” (in /bin already x-base.bin)
Any help? Thanks!
