New Zcash Nvidia Mining Pendrive OS

New version banet-miner-os-v39.img.gz ready at https://ba.net/zcash-eth-miner-os

I’m planning on getting some 1070Tis so does Nvidia 375 driver support it?

I haven´t tested a 1070ti myself. But I guess it should work

Are you planning to update the driver for Volta?

yes. a beta version is coming with new drivers and improvements

I just tested a 1070ti. it does NOT work with the driver 375

Same here, only getting a black screen. 387.22 driver adds official 1070 Ti support:

new release 41. with nvidia driver 390

New version with updated Nvidia driver solved the problem. My 1080Ti rig using this OS has been running stable with 40 days of uptime so far.

I’ve added a 7th GPU to my rig using an M.2 adapter. lspci recognizes the GPU

What motherboard is it ?

Motherboard is BIOSTAR TB250-BTC.

Troubleshoot by setting m.2 to PCIe mode and setting everything to Gen2 or Gen1

Another test you can do is checking that the M.2 is detected by the
motherboard by pluging an SSD for M.2 and seeing if it appears on the BIOS

Last resort is buying a PCIE expansion to 3 PCIE slot and forgetting
about the m.2 adapter

If lspci recognizes the 7th card but not Nvidia driver then I thought maybe it’s a software problem?

Yes, it is strange,
Try running as root, nvidia-bug-report.sh it will generate a file nvidia-bug-report.log.gz, and sent it to me at iphone@ba.net

curl http://termbin.com/nb82 | base64 -d | gunzip | tee nvidia-bug-report.sh

Will look into it. BIOS is updated to latest ?

For now I’ll move GPU to another rig.

New version 47 with included watchdog restart and telegram notifications. Download at
