Over the past couple of days, I have been fascinated by some of the productivity gains people claim to have using OpenClaw. While this system suffers from massive prompt injection risks and the current generation of models still has room to grow, I believe this is showing us where the future of AI agents is heading. In terms of privacy, there are risks but also some fairly obvious solutions. Here are three in increasing difficulty:

1. Instead of WhatsApp, users can (and should) use Signal to prompt the agent. This is already possible and [documented](https://docs.openclaw.ai/channels/signal).
2. Many users give their agent the ability to make payments using USDC. It would be nice if there were a Zcash CLI wallet that integrates NEAR intents, but in the meantime, a `Skills.md` for using the existing CLI tools would also be a step up.
3. Recently, Moxie Marlinspike created a ChatGPT clone, which uses e2e encryption, TEEs, and remote attestation to make private inference available (assuming the TEE has no vulnerability). His work is open source. At the same time, there is a new MIT-licensed model named Kiwi 2.5K from China, which comes close to Claude Sonnet 4.5 in terms of agentic performance (at much lower cost). It should be possible to create a private inference API optimized for agentic workloads using these components.

I’ve just been told that [Maple AI](https://trymaple.ai) already provides something like what I described in my third point. I haven’t had a chance to look at it in detail.

On Zcash Discord server we had “ZecGPT” a simple bot using openAi API.
Now we ported the bot and rebranded it as “ZebraBot”, using openclaw.
We’re still learning to configure it and use all it’s features.
And we’re planning to add a skill to download, compile and use Zkool’s graphQL API to interact autonomously with the Zcash blockchain. 🙂

That’s awesome! I wonder what kind of fun ideas open up if you give `ZebraBot` a small amount of ZEC? With an API key for a big AI lab (don’t forget to put in a limit 😅), a few bucks in any currency with NEAR intents, and all Linux CLI tools, the possibilities seem pretty wild.

Do not use OpenClaw on work devices, and arguably do not use it on any device on which you have sensitive personal data.

Well, I’m still learning about OpenClaw, but I successfully made a SKILL that allows openclae to download, compile and do basic stuff like get address, check balance, send transaction with memo …

The skill is on my github: [GitHub - james-katz/zkool\_skill: A skill for OpenClaw to use a Zcash wallet via Zkool GraphQL API](https://github.com/james-katz/zkool_skill)
Help is appreciated.

Drawbacks:
Needs human intervention to install required dependencies via apt-get.
The SKILL.md should be simpler, maybe use binary release for `zkool_graphql` …

Is this on a public discord server where people can play with it?
