Zeeps, Is #privacycore a thing? I’m releasing a new ambient track on April 25 called **The Shielded Pool** under the artist name _The Intelligence Community_. Composed as a meditation on Zcash’s privacy layer, it’s part shielded silence, part zero-knowledge echoes, and part cryptographic transmission, all inspired by the Zcash ethos and privacy tech more broadly. 🎧 [Hyperfollow link (Spotify pre-save + video teaser + socials)](https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/theintelligencecommunity/the-shielded-pool) This track was composed generatively via Bitwig (non-AI), with analog visuals pulled from a 1980s watercolor by outsider artist [Jon Sarkin](https://jonsarkin.com). Would love for fellow Zcashers to check it out, share it around, and let me know what you think. Thanks for listening to my quiet tribute to our loud endeavor, Mark ---

Is there anywhere I can hear this that’s not behind a youtube or spotify (or X or insta) link? Bandcamp is a good still indy-ethos option, even though I think they were bought by Blizzard, I don’t think they destroyed anything yet. ---

It’s good! I am wondering if there’s some kind of hidden sound for the last 15 or so seconds, or if it’s just padded with some silence. 😃 well done, I like the moving bit depth (sample rate?) degradation fx ---

Thanks @aaal. Yes much of the track is heavily “bit crushed”, as it were. As to whether there are hidden messages in the silence… well, maybe. Maybe not. ---

🚨 **New drop coming May 30** With another Crosslink milestone behind us, it’s time to release “The Shielded Pool”'s evil twin, **Anon** : a hyper-paranoid vision of an alien but inevitable future, where every defensive action echoes back modulated until trust’s final collapse. Links: - [Spotify pre-save](https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/theintelligencecommunity/anon) - [Bandcamp](https://theintelligencecommunity.bandcamp.com/) (available in one week on May 30) I’ll be sure to drop some track codes here 24h before the release. Feedback, remixes, and conspiracy theories will be welcome! ---

> As to whether there are hidden messages in the silence… well, maybe. Maybe not. At another time I would have investigated this–and not said anything! But right now my riddles including harnessing my FOSSm modal editor’s LSP server to a rapidly deprecating mutant leviathan… with a Bear. (Somehow, not joking…) So I thought I would tease any would-be interactors with the idea… Seems like it’d fit right in there. 😉 ---
