# Potential Shielded Zcash support for another hardware wallet (Passport Prime)

Thanks to Ledger’s imminent shielded ZEC support being released, it looks like that could also mean the Passport Prime will be able to soon follow. My understanding is the Passport Prime is a fully open source hardware wallet with an open platform for sandboxed apps .

Zach Herbert (@zherbert) is the CEO of Foundation Devices who make the Passport Prime hardware wallet.
