The past polling doesn’t really create any clear preference because Josh and I both propose more hard coded addresses.

You still don’t see the difference. That’s ok. Others do. I think the preferences are clear, and I expect them to be confirmed when people vote on the ZIPs.

Adding hard coded addresses to Zcash again is bad (imo), thats why I think Josh’s proposal became a non-starter, and why my proposal became a non-starter.

Zcash ecosystem preferences were not so clear 6+ months ago, when these debates began to heat up/ polling initiatives kicked off.

There is another option and that is NO ZIP. Let the dev fund expire and this project figures out quickly how to build the future without relying on a guaranteed income stream.
