Month 1 Update: A little less formal update: 1. People want a Zashi desktop app 2. Lots of influential crypto people say they were blocked by Zooko. Maybe gives a bad first impression. 3. A got a lot done this month but after my fight (I repped zcash but lost via tko) I was recovering from a concussion and didn’t get much done during that time, I knew this might happen so I worked on it before and after work and training every day leading up to the fight. 4. My main job shuts down for the season tomorrow (Oct 3), so I will have a lot more time to invest in interacting with other people on Twitter about Zcash. 5. I was given an extra budget (5.14 Zec) to inboard people to Zashi wallet. As of writing, I have given out .9868 zec and had 13 influential people on twitter, with a cumulative follower count of **770,000** followers download zashi and I send them $5 of zcash to mess around with the dex. Received lots of positive feedback. 6. Reached out to hundreds of influential people on twitter and had good conversations about “Why Zcash”. 7. ZCG team has access to a google spreadsheet with more detailed information 8. Month 2 update: Since becoming an ambassador on twitter, the price of zcash has gone up over 900%. We can use this data to as evidence to determine that my actions as ambassador have been successful. /S Spent month 1 focusing mostly on reaching out via dms and conversing that way. Spent month 2 focusing mostly on tweeting, and having twitter conversations, occasionally reaching out via dm to people who are posting FUD and educating them or explaining why their perception is misinterpreted. Had a large boost in engagement that is correlative to the price surge and the twitter algo boosting those tweets talking about zcash plus the addition of premium +. I need to work harder to make sure I’m not just riding the wave of the algo boosting everything zcash related. 1,491,000 tweet impressions in October where over 90% of my tweets are about zcash. Analytics are still going up. I feel like there is only so much I can do on twitter, or perhaps I’ve reached “peak usefulness” on twitter. I’ve been fighting an uphill battle fighting the fud that comes out more when the price goes down. But lets not forget that zcash is still up 500% this year even if it is down to $350 from $700. I’ve managed to somehow get invited to a Merryl Lynch corporate charismas party next thursday, ill be speaking about zec, zcsh, cyph, dat’s, and privacy. ---

I’ve decided to not attempt to renew the ambassador program for the meantime. I think the money was spent well, I locked in and managed to get millions of views for zcash related content. I think if we continue the grant it would _ **not be** _ spent well, so we press pause for now. Its also sort of a self guided position and, I ran out of ideas. I will continue to advocate for zcash because I am passionate about it, for free. Maybe in the future I come up with better ideas, like getting local business set up with a POS system that can accept zcash and other cryptocurrencies(typing out loud here), or other ideas.
