What is Zcash plan for future scalability? At some point it will hopefully become as popular as bitcoin at which time it will have the same scalability problem as bitcoin. How is Zcash planning to solve this problem?
Right now the project is taking a wait and see attitude. I know that both SegWit and FlexTrans are being looked at as possible future solutions, and other schemes are not ruled out either.
Hopefully litecoin ends up activating SegWit, then everyone will have a chance to see how it works in practice in real live production use under load. That’d help other projects, like zcash, see what issues it may have when things shake out in actual use.
