# Where we're going, we don't need roads! ECC Weekly Update

Astute.

FIT21 is what prompted this comment:

While the bill did get through the house yesterday with bipartisan support, it has been expected to be killed in the Senate until major changes are made. That said, with the winds shifting so quickly in DC, and so much industry support (even tho not really wanting to be passed as-is), I have concern and its something the community should watch closely - both as it relates to funding and governance.

I’ll share back what we learn in our conversations with legal.
