Why Dialog?

A stakeholder is an owner of stake. I’m a simple person, a stake in Zcash is a stake in ZEC.

So everyone with a Zat should get 1 vote?

Where? Anything that touches ZEC has to be approved by ZEC stakeholders, yes.

So, if I want to spend ZEC, I need approval from ZEC stakeholders?

*Anything that touches ZEC’s inflation.

I see, so if there’s ZEC from the block reward to be allocated, Tyler Winklevoss and a person with one zat should each have 1 vote on how that happens?

I’m happy to answer your questions @zancas but that’s for as long as it’s going somewhere.

1 ZEC = 1 vote, in the context of spending our inflation. Either that, or no more spending our inflation outside of the minimum necessary to secure the network.

I promise that I am doing my best! If it goes nowhere, then it won’t be because I didn’t try.

On the other hand, if I know where a conversation is going to end up, then doesn’t that mean I can’t learn from it?

Why do you propose 1 vote = 1 ZEC?

Because if you want to spend my 0.5% share of the Zcash inflation, I want to have 0.5% say on it.

I’m not sure I understand.

You’re saying that you own the ZEC in the lockbox?

0.5% of it is coming from the inflation on my tokens, is what I am saying.

I still don’t understand your position.

Are you asserting that each ZEC has the same voting power as each other ZEC?

Do you remember where you were recently exposed to that word?
