# Wobbzz for ZCG 2024

Hi everyone,

I’m writing to announce my candidacy for ZCG again this year. It’s been a challenging year for funding decisions given that our treasury is denominated in such a volatile asset. Nevertheless, I would like to continue supporting Zcash because I still believe it has great potential and there are some exciting things to look forward to in the near future.

What are my priorities for Zcash while serving as a member of ZCG? The reality right now, with the current treasury and with dev fund uncertainty, funding new initiatives is a very hard sell. We increasingly have to look at cutting costs, ceasing to fund underperforming or excessive projects, or in the worst case, cancelling or reworking milestones.

Regardless, my priorities right now include:

1. Support our current funding commitments as best as we can through to completion. Immediate priorities for me include ZSAs, Ledger, Security Audits, Zcash Media current milestone.
2. Engage with ZCG and the community on laying the ground work for a path to ZCG independence.
3. Supporting community decisions regarding future development funding.
