# zainod 0.7.0 – 2026-08-05 Net Change: [(+2,160, -2,297)](https://github.com/zingolabs/zaino/pull/1437)

Hey folks, today zainod 0.7.0 is officially available on [crates.io](https://crates.io/crates/zainod), [dockerhub](https://hub.docker.com/layers/zingodevops/zainod/0.7.0), and [github](https://github.com/zingolabs/zaino/releases/tag/0.7.0).

We have decoupled feature integration from our release cadence.  
Our next release will be on Friday, August 14 2026.

### Our in-flight features are:

- redesign of [non-finalized state](https://github.com/zingolabs/zaino/pull/1378) including input from @hanh
- modular [design of the sync engine](https://hackmd.io/@3751jKAyQcWy0V4Syt4dig/Hk46wKxQMx)
- a [new test harness](https://github.com/zingolabs/zaino/pull/1265)
