Twenty-five presentations that help tell the story of Zcash, from its cryptographic origins and early protocol development to privacy, security, governance, human rights, community, wallets, and the questions shaping its future.
Zk Av Club developed this collection through the Zcash Playlist Challenge and an extensive historical review of Zcon presentations. We examined what speakers actually said, what was happening in Zcash at the time, what happened afterward, how each presentation held up in hindsight, and how it compared with other talks covering the same history.
The final ranking combines independent editorial research with community and trusted-curator input. It is not simply a list of the most popular talks. The goal is to identify the presentations most important to understanding and representing Zcash through the history of Zcon.
Together, these 25 videos document major technical breakthroughs, foundational ideas, difficult debates, lessons from real-world use, changing threats to financial privacy, and the people and communities that have shaped Zcash.
