# Zcash at Blockchain 360°

This is a proposal to represent Zcash at a local blockchain workshop in Kampala. I have hosted some Privacy events in Kampala and I am looking at this event as an opportunity to reach bigger audiences. Here are some of my recent events. Specific objective :

All round the globe, economies are getting digitized through the notion of tokens, with the unprecedented growth and adoption of Blockchain and web 3.0 technologies. We realize the enormous potential this disruptive technology has in transforming our lives right from sports & entertainment, health , real estate, finance, government, insurance etc.

It’s from this background that we envision this event dubbed Blockchain 3600° to expose local talent, developers, data scientists, enthusiasts, and all interested parties to this new yet not-well-understood technology and the various promises, potentials and opportunities it presents.

Content Scope at the workshop;

1. Introduction to Blockchain technology.

2. Evolution of the web.

3. Current state of affairs

4. A glimpse into some popular blockchains

5. Blockchain in Finance , the DeFi case

6. Blockchain in Sport & Entertainment

#### How would sponsoring this event benefit the Zcash community?

Mass regional reach by Zcash.

Awareness of the the latest Zcash products such as UA’s.

Potential university final year projects especially blockchain & privacy focused.

It will also set a good foundation for ECC’s Crypto in Context Program in the region.

#### How would Zcash Community Grant’s sponsorship be recognized during your event? Examples: Logo on Website, Marketing Materials, Presentations, etc…

It will be recognised through publishing the Zcash logo on the event’s advertising materials.

Zcash will have a mainstage speaker slot(preferably about privacy)

Zcash logo will feature on the event cover banner

A booth will also be dedicated to Zcash.

@Mucu, thank you for your grant submission, the [@ZcashGrants](https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/groups/zcashgrants) Committee has voted to reject this proposal at the most recent meeting. But would like to recommend that you look into applying for the newly announced [ZF Minor Grants program](https://zfnd.org/launching-the-zcash-minor-grants-program/).
