Zcash absolutely needs a contingency plan in the (likely) case of a crackdown by authorities.

That is why I made [this thread](https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/t/do-you-agree-with-eccs-decision-to-not-prioritize-having-a-large-number-of-active-validators-in-choice-of-pos-consensus-algorithm/43371) about why the ECC not prioritizing node count is a bad and naive idea.
