# 8th Meetup Club Zcash Querétaro. ![8 Meet CZQ](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/zcash/original/3X/1/6/16c18a951c5426bce9f7eb92d2b9cc36a03497ae.jpeg) On August 30th, we met for the 8th Zcash Club Querétaro meetup. On this occasion, we had the pleasure of welcoming Diana HR in person. She has been an official NYM Ambassador for two years. She is a woman committed to privacy and has a significant track record in the blockchain field in Mexico. She traveled 5 hours from Puebla to give a talk to the members of the Club Zcash Querétaro. The talk flowed naturally. I began by giving an introduction to Zcash and the Club, as we had a couple of people attending for the first time. Then Diana shared the history of NYM, its founders, and the reason this VPN-Mixnet exists. She also explained, in non-technical terms, how NYM technology works and what makes it one of the most powerful apps. At the end of the talk, attendees received a QR code to download and try NYM. We also demonstrated how IP addresses are tracked and how they are protected when using a VPN. We provided snacks and drinks, and held a trivia contest with a $10 USD ZEC prize for the winner. Transactions were made using the Zodl and Zingo wallets. The official NYM Spanish account on X supported us by posting on their account and reposting ours. The project is growing at an impressive rate, and we’re currently exploring the possibility of participating in not one, but two major blockchain, AI, and tech events in Querétaro and Mexico City. We intend to apply for a grant soon to expand our work and reach.
