Yes, it make sense to rescope it that way. That would entail a two-piece standalone pilot at $5,000, proportional to the original per-piece cost, with any further work proposed and considered separately on its own merits.
The two pieces I’d propose for the pilot would be:
- Situating Zcash’s shielding model against FHE, MPC, and TEEs as they’re deployed, written for readers evaluating privacy architectures
- Selective disclosure and compliance. What viewing keys and payment disclosure can support against the requirements of exchanges and regulators
Both would be mirrored open-access to ZecHub or the committee’s preferred hub on publication. Delivery of first piece within 3 weeks of approval, with the second due by week eight.
If the committee would rather swap one of the two for a different topic from the original outline, I’m open to that.
