Hi everyone, I’m Lana Ivina, and I’m posting the next proposed phase of Zcash Network School. The Malaysia program ran from May through July 2026. Network School has since relocated to Astana Hub in Kazakhstan, and we are proposing a three-month Zcash program there. This Kazakhstan team met through Network School and participated in the Malaysia program in different capacities. ### What changes in Kazakhstan Astana Hub gives us access to the local technology community and universities including founders and developers. The program focuses on five areas: **Events** We run 6 public educational and technical sessions, 10 office-hour sessions, and at least one 4- to 8-hour developer build-a-thon. **Community** We run a Kazakhstan Zcash Telegram group with a Developer topic and recruit through Network School, Astana Hub, Superteam Kazakhstan, universities, technical communities, and local online channels. **Onboarding** Participants can set up a self-custody Zcash wallet after attending a session or office hours and joining the local Telegram group. The target is 100 completed wallet activations. Interested developers also receive next steps, such as attending another session, completing a ZecHub bounty, or preparing for our build-a-thon. **Research** We administer the same participant survey near the start and end of each month. This lets us track changes in Zcash awareness, participation, and usage and publish anonymized findings. **Local operations** We operate from Astana Hub, produce participant materials in English, localize them into Russian and Kazakh, publish monthly reports, and recruit a Kazakhstan-resident intern who progressively takes over recurring local work. ### Team I’m **Lana Ivina** , Principal at Circuit Labs and formerly at StarkWare, currently actively supporting the technical rollout of ZcashMe. I will be serving as Project Lead and leading ZK education. I will support technical talks, Russian translation, and monthly reporting. **James Joseph** , founder of ZcashMe, will handle project management, office hours, budget management, and Zcash ecosystem coordination. **Julian Abraham** , core engineer at ZcashMe. He will lead technical education and developer workshops like our build-a-thon. **Keiara Desouza** , who supported the Malaysia program as an intern. She will lead community recruitment, event distribution, Telegram operations, and survey administration. We will also recruit a **Kazakhstan-resident intern** who assists Keiara and progressively takes over recurring local work, starting with event marketing and community operations. **Aibar Shora** , a Network School core team member who works on ecosystem growth at Superteam Kazakhstan.
