I have been running zcash4win and for some reason blockchain sync is stuck. It does say zcashd is running and shows 7 or 8 connected peers but does not progress beyond 4/25/2017 (~50.18%). Any pointers? ---

You just need to wait it out. There was a massive influx of transactions during that period due to high profitability. I would give it more time. Can u finish that’s problem. My wallet stuck in installation 5hr to waiting and still process… zcash4win ---

After waiting for over a week i just triggered a `-reindex`. Will keep you all posted. Thanks for the help. @nekkidtruth - where is the official thread. is it on this forum? ---

Thanks. That’s a really long thread. Unfortunately for me now I am stuck again and zcashd keeps dying. Did you check the debug.log? Personally, I would backup my wallet.dat, uninstall/remove everything else in the folder and start again. ---

Looks like I forgot to backup my wallet.dat so does that mean all my existing zcash is lost ☹
