Hey everyone 
A few months into the DeFi Strategist role and figured it was a good time to share where things are at on the integrations and partnerships side. Sticking to what I can share publicly today — plenty more in the pipeline.
Wallets
We’ve established contact and active conversations with all of the industry’s top wallets, and this year is looking really exciting for shielded Zcash support.
A couple of concrete updates I can share:
- OneKey — one of Asia’s top wallets — has received the grant and plans to ship shielded support in Q3.
- Ledger is also targeting end of Q2 for shielded ZEC support.
More wallet news to come as conversations firm up.
Fiat onramps
Given my background in ramps, happy to share that there are now two fiat onramps supporting direct buying of ZEC into your wallet:
- Kraken Ramps — available in 12 US states
- Banxa — available globally
Both are already implemented in Cake Wallet. Big shoutout to Seth for such a quick and clean integration.
Swaps
Privacy-supporting swap providers are stepping up too — notably Exolix, which has added shielded ZEC support, giving users more diverse options to swap into and out of shielded ZEC.
DeFi
We’re in active conversations with several teams building DeFi products in the Zcash ecosystem — notably RHEA, Khalani, and the Metro (Thorswap) team, among others.
I’m also looking forward to the upcoming browser wallet being built by the RHEA team. They’ve done an impeccable job recovering from their recent security incident — 98% of funds recovered and no user losses. Huge shoutout to them for that kind of resilience.

Events
I’m trying to have more presence at crypto conferences this year. Attended EthCC Cannes last month, and next week I’ll be at Consensus Miami while other members of the team head to Rome.
