Was there some exceptional good luck today? Wow!
It’s nothing to do with luck (they pool mine with suprnova anyway). They accumulated a lot of additional ZEC when their hashrate increased due to miner improvements but they didn’t bump up the customer hashrate (as were building a buffer for potential tax costs). So they’ve now distributed this excess ZEC. Once taxes are all said and done there should be a hashrate bump in addition.
