ZOMG is not what i thought

Thanks for this. It helps.

I don’t want to act outside of the confines of an existing ZIP. It would lay down a bad precedent. I’ve negotiated a lot of commercial contracts in my past (and gotten sued / countersued - through the companies I worked at of course); I know how important it is to swim within your lane.

But I think this is more nuanced than that. For one, can you help me understand how (focusing on the mechanism) getting a full time resource dedicated to us means that we will need to be a separate entity?

For the rest, why don’t you and I get on a call? I’ll DM you my contact info.

Also, I’d to reiterate that the ZOMG position is basically voluntary (virtually unpaid). Neither am I a ZEC whale who is going to benefit from ZEC spiking. So, I’d like to ask that people keep this in mind when we go back and forth.

I’m frustrated because the hiring isn’t for the right job. The Zomg structure and organization is fine in my opinion, so I feel like the conversation has shifted towards an non issue.

I think this is what the issue boils too. I disagree for ZOMG to be a 3rd entity but also disagree with the pushback to the idea of “hiring someone dedicated to ZOMG but who is still part of ZF”. My understanding is that the ZOMG fund can be used for this.
