Had a really good conversation with @Dre_Nesthub today about Zcash, the people building around it, and the potential I think this ecosystem has.
We spent over an hour talking through different perspectives on where Zcash can go, how we can bring more developers into the ecosystem, what helps builders stay engaged beyond their first experience, and how we can create stronger connections between the people already building here.
One thing I really enjoyed about the conversation was being able to openly share different perspectives and challenge ideas while still keeping the focus on the bigger picture: how do we keep building an ecosystem that people want to stay in and contribute to?
I also shared some of my own experiences as a builder and what made me stay involved with Zcash beyond simply discovering the ecosystem.
There’s a lot of potential here, and I think conversations like this are important because the ecosystem gets stronger when builders can openly exchange ideas, perspectives, and even disagreements.

i think zcash is in a unique place in the overall crypto ecosystem bc of how battle-tested its tech and primitive is. been building on zcash in stealth and would love to see more builders come as well

This what we need collaborating with each other sharing ideas helping where we can. Zcash potential is great, but we still have to unlock it with building and make impactful connections within the Zcash community.
Exactly. I think collaboration between builders is a big part of unlocking that potential. There’s a lot we can accomplish when we share ideas, help each other, and actually build together.
