Hey everyone!
I’d like to announce a project that I have started working on inspired by what I see other communities like Arbitrium and Solana building the ecosystem evolve toward the Z3 stack and the new ZODL era, and one thing is clear: the barrier to entry for Zcash development is high. Between Halo 2, ZIPs, and the nuances of Zebra vs. zcashd, new devs spend more time digging through docs than writing code.
I’m currently building a Zcash Brain called BrainZ, an AI-powered onboarding engine and technical hub designed to solve this.
What is it?
It’s an Agentic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system specifically indexed on the Zcash ecosystem. Think of it as a technical co-pilot that has “read” every ZIP, the Zebra codebase, and years of forum discussions.
Key Features I’m building:
-
Deep Technical RAG: Instant, accurate answers on Halo 2 implementations, Orchard/Sapling nuances, and FROST.
-
Cross-Language Hub: Bridging the gap for our global community (English/Spanish/Chinese/etc.) to ensure Zcash stays a global privacy standard.
-
Developer Onboarding Engine: A guided path for engineers to move from “Zero” to “Shielded Transaction” in record time.
Why now?
As we decentralize development across more entities, we can’t afford information silos. I want to make sure the “tribal knowledge” of Zcash is accessible to anyone, anywhere, instantly.
I have created a repo to track progress/ Feedbaks/ideas are welcomed. GitHub - Braniac81/BrainZ- · GitHub
