1. Branding Refresh

New logo. Simpler, more recognizable. Subtle nod to Zcash with a warmer yellow. Unified color system across the app. Light mode reworked.

Less visual noise on the homepage. Cleaner layouts, calmer feel.

Thanks to everyone who shared feedback, it helped!

2. Privacy Risks Redesign

Two-column layout, horizontal flow cards. Each card now shows a dynamic conclusion based on the actual time delta and amount.

Easier to understand at a glance what patterns were detected and why.

CipherScan Update March/April 2026

1. Crosslink Explorer

Deployed a full Crosslink testnet explorer at crosslink.cipherscan.app.

Interactive chain graph showing PoW blocks and BFT votes landing in real time. Individual finalizer pages with voting participation stats. Known validators are labeled.

CipherScan also runs its own Crosslink validator.

Chain sync health monitoring, if there’s a finality gap, the explorer shows it.

2. Buy ZEC, Cross-Chain Swaps

You can now buy ZEC directly on CipherScan from ETH, BTC, SOL, TRON, and 15+ other chains. Powered by NEAR Intents.

Direct wallet connection for EVM, Solana, Tron, and Bitcoin. Quote expiry countdown, swap progress tracker, and privacy recommendations before you even send, the swap page tells you which amounts blend well in the shielded pool.

3. Cross-Chain Dashboard Revamp

Redesigned the cross-chain page with tabbed layout. DB-backed stats, swap latency by direction, explorer links to source chain transactions.

4. Blend Check

Renamed from Privacy Checker. Enter any ZEC amount and see how well it blends with recent shielded transactions. Shows shield/deshield breakdown and suggests split strategies for better privacy.

6. Zcash Name Service (ZNS)

Integrated ZNS via a PR from the @ZcashMe team. Search any name in the search bar, see resolved address, registration history, and marketplace status. Available names show pricing and a link to claim.

API: GET /api/name/{name}

7. CipherScan Weekly Newsletter

Five editions published. Weekly Zcash recap, ecosystem news, privacy metrics from CipherScan data, grant updates, developer activity.

8. Real-Time Updates

Switched to Zebra gRPC streaming for mempool and new blocks. WebSocket-powered, blocks appear on the homepage the moment they’re mined.

9. Tor Node Detection

Network page now identifies Tor relay nodes and tracks historical node snapshots.

10. Page Redesigns

Transaction and address pages got unified hero cards. Mobile-friendly. Tabbed address page with cross-chain swap history. Pagination across blocks, transactions, and shielded transactions.
