Cyber-Nomad Drop. Claim your Shielded ZSA

ZMAP (Zcash Metadata Asset Protocol).

The Future of Digital Cargo
Welcome to the post-Evolution era. On the Zcash blockchain, we aren’t just sending coins; we are transporting digital artifacts through the electromagnetic spectrum.

We are proud to introduce the ZecBoat Cyber-Nomad Collection—the first large-scale test of high-throughput Layer-2 asset issuance on Zcash.

The ZMAP “Ultimate” Features:

  • True Privacy: Unlike NFTs on public chains, your Cyber-Nomad exists entirely within the Orchard Shielded Pool. Your ownership is zero-knowledge; only you and the sender know who holds the asset.
  • Cryptographic Provenance: Every asset is physically bound to its artwork via a SHA-256 pixel-hash embedded directly into the encrypted transaction memo.
  • Permanent Metadata: No IPFS links that disappear. The metadata is part of the blockchain history, mapped deterministically to zecboat.com/collection/{asset_id}.png.
  • Multi-Sig Security: This collection was minted from a distributed FROST Vault.

Mathematical Proof of Minting
The “Cyber-Nomad” fleet has been deployed. You can verify the existence of the 200-piece batch mint on any Zcash block explorer. This transaction satisfies the strict ZIP-317 consensus rules, proving ZSA scalability:

Minting TXID: f13559875bc42c846d985ed8059f1fa00bf79a810c820fee41a51bab8e8c66ae
Proof of Transfer (Asset #001): e8590e7226d5135146cc753ff52cbd9e68bc1aa4f2ee24e63c2d24ffaf48452d

Board the ZecBoat: Collect Your Cyber-Nomad
We are looking for the first wave of Nomads to help us stress-test the new Sapling/Orchard transport layers.
Want to own a piece of Zcash history?
a. Generate a new Unified Address (UA) using your favorite Zcash wallet.
b. It might help to separate this in a new wallet or new account.
c. Post your UA below.
d. Direct Message (DM) using the forum your UA here on the forum.
e. We will dispatch one of the remaining 199 unique Cyber-Nomads directly to your shielded vault.

The spectrum is open. The fleet is ready. Drop your UA and claim your Nomad.

One Unified Address per Forum Member.

…how does this work if ZSAs haven’t been deployed yet?

Why zecboat.com redirect to drfirst.ca?

I really hope your going to post a UA or you can DM through the forum if you want. I want you to take part!

I want to understand what exactly I’m going to take part first

Thanks a lot!

I can mention this on the meetup!

This is my UA:

u1lmvhq09dawatgjx9f8auvxmygvqqm6k3hp62c0q0f0hrg5psx5pv2gt7mg940xr7sqsycrpa85necw3djncf0r0hzaem99nt8phpmtsxlt7l3ldflpqm4mtnsqwjw0zsdl2waqe9qj5v3fug9m447tupyjx7cm223mvwne9eeskwkh0c

Cyber-nomad’s are a Layer-2 asset on the Zcash network. While it uses a standard note as its transport mechanism, its authenticity is cryptographicaly proven by its origin from the official Zecboat Issuer Vault and the immutable metadata hash locked in its memo. When viewed through a Zecboat wallet, the software validates this provenance and registers it as a unique, non-fungible asset.

  1. It is an “Overlay Asset”
  2. The Proof of Provenance (The Issuer)
  3. The Proof of Metadata (The Memo & Hash)
  4. The Proof of Client Consensus (The Wallet)

I hope you decide to gain a free unique zcash shielded assets transported over the zcash network paying network fees.

Thanks

Not a ZSA then

Love seeing ZSAs get real-world use. This is exactly the kind of experiment that shows what shielded assets can actually unlock beyond simple transfers.

We’ve been thinking about similar primitives for Silo, a privacy-first AI chat app with the best models available. We already support ZEC payments, so users who want the full private stack have it. The next thing we want to explore is gating access via a shielded token, where even the fact that you accessed the service is obscured. ZSAs feel like the right building block for that.

Anyone here working on the tooling side of ZSA-gated access? Would love to connect.

What wallet should I use to see it?

Great Question,
I believe all current wallets currently on the market will not be able to see the asset transfer. However, Zecboat Glass is a simple zcash wallet connecting to zebra its a asset viewer. I hope to make it available shortly after I transfer the Zcash Shielded Assets. I’m also glad to report I have a great volunteer with tons of technical skills who will get and early copy of Zecboat Glass and confirm this brand new asset class, and the transfer to their Zecboat Glass wallet.

I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks for the great question.

Sounds good:+1:

Will the shielded asset be visible as an incoming transaction on standard wallets (i.e zashi / zingo)?

And what about for viewing the artwork itself?

Also the zecboat.com domain is resolving to drfirst.ca FYI.

Ehi, something is landed on my Zingo wallet yesterday! Five image hashes, no other info… :eyes:

To verify the cryptographic ownership of that specific file, you would run this command in your terminal:

sha256sum ~/Downloads/b7721577879363bbeffd492bfcbdcfbb96698c59ce6f39c70d52e48ef05af276.png

The output was exactly: eeb0d7ee530fb0d3aa6f42d7ae7f801279ac47d862e636f0dcbc33af42a8cab4

Asset #002, you will see that this hash perfectly matches the “image_hash” registered on the blockchain:
“image_hash”: “eeb0d7ee530fb0d3aa6f42d7ae7f801279ac47d862e636f0dcbc33af42a8cab4”

Absolute cryptographic proof!

File you downloaded hashes to the exact string stored immutably in your Zcash wallet’s memo, you have mathematically proven that the image file on your hard drive is the authentic Zcash Shielded Asset you own.
