I wanted to make it as easy as possible to run a zcash full node so I made this GitHub - WyseNynja/dockerfile-zcash: Easily run zcash with Docker.
I have a similar project (https://github.com/WyseNynja/joinmarket-suite) that also sets up a container for Tor and I plan on doing the same for with this project, but I just haven’t had the time yet.
Let me know what you think.
I think mining with Docker for Mac/Windows will be slow, but it should be about as fast with Linux.
