As mentioned, here’s a proposed update to ZIP 1014 that names Bootstrap as the parent org of ECC, and uses consistent language to describe how both orgs would receive dev fund slices as donations:

This proposed update to ZIP 1014 does a few things.
1. It names Bootstrap, the … newly formed non-profit that will be the parent organization of ECC, as the recipient of the dev fund slice. (see [1](https://electriccoin.co/blog/eccs-owners-to-donate-ecc/) [2](https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/t/eccs-owners-to-donate-ecc-to-the-community/37568/))
2. I'll take over responsibility from Josh Cincinnati for this ZIP from the Foundation's side
3. Offers some language that clarifies how both organizations intend to regard the ZF and ECC dev fund slices, in particular as donations to the respective non-profit organizations.
This is intended to be a clarifying patch, and reflects our progress (both from ZF and ECC) in delivering on several of the explicit goals mentioned in the earlier ZIP text, namely that ECC should pursue reorganizing as a non-profit.
