Feedback: UE5 Virtual Wallet and Coffee Shop Zcash Simulator

OutLandishly Crafted Zcash Simulator

Build a simple 3D Simulated Game environment in Unreal Engine 5 of a coffee shop. Where the “player” can interact with the staff and purchase a coffee using their simulated Mobile device Apple/Android with any of the dedicated Zcash wallets. Zingo, Zecwallet lite?, NightHawk, New ECC Wallet, suggested others. The “game/simulation” would include the basics of using zcash wallets including making a purchase at a retail store, backup/restore, wallet change, send friend/family funds and so on.

Problem:

  1. The Update/Feedback cycle for Mobile apps in a Mobile store is way too long.

  2. There are few interactive education systems.

2a. Where you can simulate the process of purchasing a product from a “coffee shop”

2b. Can simulate the process of 1 to 1 transferring zcash to family/friends

2c. Simulate backup/restore of wallet

2d. Simulate Wallet UIs and GUIs for faster better feedback

2e. Most of the current edu systems are made by smart people for smart people and don’t meet the learning needs and process of this generation and the populous around the world who expects a hand-holding experience, not a self-learning one.

Solution:

  1. Make an Unreal Engine 5 basic simulation of the UI/Wallets/GUIs for each wallet app dedicated to zcash.

  2. Create a basic simulated world of a coffee shop where you can buy a coffee as a zooko “clone” Morphed 3d Image of NOT Zooko as he has requested to not be the face of zcash. Planning to use meta-human. Planned 1st and 3rd person options.

  3. Simulated Send money to family, get money from friends Interactions

  4. Simulated Back/Restore of wallet

  5. Simulated Change to a different wallet

  6. Pre-recorded scripted history of zcash

  7. Learn more about how zcash is diff

  8. Collect Anonymous Feedback in Game on UI changes requested for the wallets and frustrations with the process. Provide information to ECC and wallet developers.

Goal:

Single Player, no coop/no multiplayer

The goal is PC first as a test, then consoles then mobile if the project is accepted by the community and used/funded.

The Estimated costs cover getting into PC Epic/Steam stores.

Not Goal

Porting to Console and Mobile(android/apple) would be a sub-project needing more funding.

NOT Simulating protocol (This is simply fake "Simulation of the wallets UI, screens and interacts for zcash transactions)

NOT collecting ANY INFORMATION from users other than feedback on UI. Should be anonymous.

NO online servers

Time Frame: 2 Months for development.

ETA: To get into the Steam/Epic Stores is unknown until submitted and approved by the store.

I’m pretty sure I have all the assets required already.

Although these are not Unreal Engine games, I believe I have enough knowledge and experience already in UE4/5 to make this basic simulator.

this. this is fun. and we need fun. but not 100% convinced we need a wallet emulator. maybe we do? but a Zcash themed game wud be nice any way. Zooko simulator sounds also funny.
