Transparent address histories are completely accessible. Any movements can be seen by literally anyone. If you paste your address into a block explorer, it should at least show the balance.
Transparent funds shouldn’t have been affected by the Orchard-Ironwood migration. They would always just get shielded into now ironwood, previously Orchard. If the funds did get auto-shielded into Orchard before the upgrade, then the migration would more likely have had an effect. Regardless, you should also check the shielded addresses (zodl is shielded by default, meaning it is incapable of normal transparent spends so the funds are either there in the taddy or shielded).
They were shielded in Zodl. I had sent it form Coinbase to Zodl. Then I shielded the funds.
How do I check the shielded funds? Block explorer the same as I would transparent?
No, you cannot search shielded addresses on an explorer like transparent, they simply are not there to be searched. It requires restoring the addresses that hold the funds with their seed or viewing keys.
Hmm ok. Seems the issue then was in the migration.
You should see some tx history on the transparent address, sending funds to the shielded pool.
I can see my transfer from Coinbase to Zashi at the time back in November 2025. The transparent address is different than the transparent address I currently see on Zkool. Unfortunately, this is the only wallet that I had so not sure whats going on. Both Zodl and Zkool don’t show any transactions. The transaction history disappeared once the Ironwood migration happened. The funds and history were in the app a couple of days prior, when I opened the app after the migration. I was prompted about the change and then after it showed zero funds and no transaction history.
Have you contacted support@zodl.com ? Some of them are here but you should go through the official channel as well. (Their discord support is now read-only and points to that email)
I will again. Thanks!
