It’s likely not a stretch to assume that moving to dPOS will be a possibility only after the next halving.
Is there a suggestion that validator rewards would earn an amount commensurate with mining subsidy? That is quite the return without the costs. With a competitive dPOS environment perhaps that gets passed on to delegators, but in a not well attended validator implementation, validators likely set terms and delegators accept them.
Anyway, without getting too far in the weeds, should the community expect that 20% of validator rewards continue to go to funding the developer umbrella. If the community is concerned about delegators more than validators, perhaps the developer umbrella gets paid out of the delegator rewards. If this has been asked before, my apologies.
