In short, to protect the integrity of the project and the safety of users of Ren, the Ren 1.0 network will be sunset, and we aim to launch a fully community-controlled network, Ren 2.0, as soon as possible.
The process has begun with mints being disabled now, while burns remain enabled until mid-December.
For users who hold assets such as renZEC, you should immediately bridge those back to native ZEC, as we cannot guarantee that the 2.0 network will be compatible with the current 1.0 network. If you know someone who holds renZEC, please alert them to this!
We aim to come back stronger, with a fully decentralized and community-owned cross-chain network.
