Shielded Labs was established to support the long-term development of Zcash and help build unstoppable private money. To date, this work has been supported solely through donations. As our organization grows, we are exploring additional sources of funding alongside donations to support Shielded Labs over the long term. With that in mind, we are introducing Partner Services as a new initiative.
Under this initiative, teams building on or integrating with Zcash can engage Shielded Labs directly for technical support, advisory work, or ecosystem coordination. This may include support for integrations, network upgrades, or other development efforts, as well as advisory input informed by experience with the Zcash protocol, community, and governance process. The goal is to provide practical solutions and reduce friction for teams working with Zcash while helping ensure integrations and product decisions fit naturally within the broader ecosystem. This also creates a clearer path for external teams to engage with Zcash and bring new products, integrations, and support online more easily.
Shielded Labs’ primary focus remains building and supporting technology that strengthens Zcash. Partner Services is an extension of that work, allowing us to make our experience available where it’s useful while providing Shielded Labs with another source of revenue. We’re already in discussions with other teams considering similar collaborations.
