The Zcash Foundation has not provided information on the cause of the delay in releasing the Q2 and Q3 2024 reports. Regarding future reports, the community is hopeful for a consistent timeline, ideally one month after the quarter ends. Let’s wait for the Zcash Foundation’s response for more details.

The delay is my bad - I review each report before it goes out, and last year was a busy one, so the urgent began to crowd out the important. I’ll certainly strive to return to a better consistency going forward.
However, even with these outliers, our average time to publish (i.e. the number of days between the end of the quarter and the publication date) is 89 days, which is pretty good when compared to our peer group (184 days).

Yeah, if you see something that looks like an AI response, I recommend flagging it for review. It can be an indicator of spam or scam.
@Dodger i see that the foundation has acquired more BTC from Q2 - Q3 while selling more ZEC.
looking into the future, is the foundation planing to continue buying Bitcoin with ZEC?
and a quick observation from my end, it doesn’t reflect particularly well for someone leading the foundation to take more than six months to review an 18-page document.

Right now? No. In fact, assuming that (a) the threat landscape (in terms of the risk of some kind of action being taken against Zcash) remains stable, and (b) the Bitcoin price stays at these levels, we’ll probably continue to sell.
I agree. A six month delay between the quarter end and publishing the report for that quarter is excessive.
