Status Report: X Account Suspension and Migration to Bluesky
Incident: In mid-June 2026, the official Zcash en Español account on the X platform (formerly Twitter) was unexpectedly suspended by the platform without any clear justification.
Impact: This incident temporarily disrupted our primary communication channel for the Spanish-speaking audience, limiting the reach of updates and live stream announcements.
Action Taken: In response to this setback and true to our core values, the community has transitioned to Bluesky. We chose this platform as it offers a much friendlier environment, powered by an open-source and decentralized protocol, ensuring greater resilience and alignment with our vision of digital sovereignty.

Here we show you the progress of the Zcash 101 educational program.
Each month we will include updates on this proposal, which is tentative and may vary depending on the progress and results we achieve while maintaining the quality of the work.
Disclaimer: In order to improve the quality of the editing and publication of the Zcash 101 educational program, we as a team have decided to postpone the release date to July 2026.
* Zcash en español node:
During June, the deployment of the public infrastructure for the Spanish Zcash Node was completed, with the goal of providing a stable and secure community endpoint for the Zcash ecosystem.
The infrastructure consists of a self-hosted Mini PC running Zebra Full Node and Lightwalletd, connected via a WireGuard VPN to a public VPS responsible for exposing the service using a Caddy with Let’s Encrypt TLS certificates.
In addition, a public monitoring dashboard, an automatic node status update system, a backup procedure, and a comprehensive restoration guide were developed.
During testing, the endpoint demonstrated compatibility with Zingo, ZODL, and Zkool (after its update). Research into compatibility with YWallet and Zingo Desktop is ongoing.
With this deployment, Zcash in Spanish provides the community with an independently maintained public infrastructure aimed at improving the decentralization and availability of services for the Zcash ecosystem.
