Hi all, we’ve published The Trailing Finality Layer: A stepping stone to proof of stake in Zcash and I’m preparing a Zcon4 Workshop: Interactive Design of a Zcash Trailing Finality Layer (Hybrid PoW+PoS) (Session Video). This is a design that I hope can be a fairly safe / non-disruptive transition to a hybrid PoW/PoS protocol.
